Pivot units

Destaco's pivot units are used to bring parts and tools into the correct machining position by tilting, depositing or rotating. They are usually used for applications where precise repeatability is required. When using the swivel units, the appropriate guidelines should be followed, especially with regard to positioning and loading. The swivel units can be pneumatically or electrically operated.

Destaco´s 98W Series electric pivot unit provides constant torque, multiple positions and programmable stop positions in a compact design. These units are interchangeable with common pneumatic pivot units and are available with variable arm and saddle positions for flexible operation.

Destaco´s RCM and RFM Series toggle action mechanism delivers reliable power to position large fixtures in place for welding and assembly applications, while also offering the flexibility of in-the-field opening angle adjustment.
