Stepper gears

Indexing gears are used to support indexing applications. Stepping is the act of starting and stopping a device at precise intervals at specified stations.

The cam-driven rotary indexing tables enable numerous products and components to be indexed with precision. The larger Series indexers can rotate tons of heavy automotive parts in seconds, while smaller parallel and roller-driven indexers step-by-step electronic or pharmaceutical components are rotated in milliseconds.

Globoid cam gear

  • Globoid step gearbox | XM series

Globoid step gearbox | XM series

Globoidal cam gears ensure an optimum ratio between power and space requirements. Different sizes of the globoidal stepping gearbox range, with finely graduated torques, laws of motion and shift angles cover a large number of applications.

  • Roller gear index drives| Series RGD / RGS

Roller gear index drives| Series RGD / RGS

The CAMCO RGD/RGS Series of Roller Gear Index Drives are robust, versatile units suitable for a wide variety of applications.

  • Right angle, rotary index drives | Series RA

Right angle, rotary index drives | Series RA

CAMCO RA Series of Right Angle Index Drives are ideal for dial applications or actuation-type applications such as driving a linkage or in-line conveyor.

Parallel stepper gear

  • Parallel stepping gearbox | Series YM

Parallel stepping gearbox | Series YM

The parallel shaft cam indexing gear units ensure an optimum ratio between power and space requirements. Different sizes of the parallel shaft cam indexing gear programme, with finely graduated torques, laws of motion and switching angles cover a large number of applications.

  • Parallel rotary index drives | Series P

Parallel rotary index drives | Series P

Camco P Series of Parallel Index Drives are ideal for high-speed applications or for actuation-type applications such as driving a linkage or a conveyor.

Rotary index drives / Rotary indexers

  • Flange output rotary indexers | Series RDM

Flange output rotary indexers | Series RDM

The CAMCO RDM Series Index Drive is ideal for rotary dial applications. These models feature a large output mounting surface that’s supported by 4-point contact bearing that offers superior thrust and moment capacity.

  • Rotary indexing tables | Series XZ

Rotary indexing tables | Series XZ

Rotary indexing tables type XZ are based on a cylindrical cam in which the cam follower intervenes perpendicularly. Thus the output-hollow shaft, on which the cam follower is mounted, can be designed with large diameters.

  • Heavy-duty rotary index drives | Series RD

Heavy-duty rotary index drives | Series RD

CAMCO RD Series of Roller Dial Index Drives have a robust, flexible design with superior load capabilities.

  • Rotary index drives | Series E

Rotary index drives | Series E

The CAMCO E-Series of Heavy Duty Index Drives are ideal for heavy-duty rotary dial applications.

  • Rotary indexing tables | Series XL

Rotary indexing tables | Series XL

ZZ Ring indexing tables are used in mechanical handling and assembly systems. Due to the drive unit being attached to the outer ring by a cylindrical cam an extremely large inner ring diameter and high positioning accuracy is achieved

  • Ring drives for automation applications | Series RNG

Ring drives for automation applications | Series RNG

The CAMCO ring drive Series RNG offers easy-to-integrate automation that fits into your operations.
