Lightweight tooling for end effectors

The DESTACO Accelerate Collection® of Lightweight End Effector Tooling is a reduced-weight end effector designed to help you move parts faster in today's high-speed automation. Accelerate end effectors can provide production line speed gains of up to 30 percent with up to a 50 percent reduction in weight making it possible for lines to move faster without putting undue stress on automation equipment. As many workers manually change tooling on automated lines, Accelerate end effectors' lighter weight improves ergonomics, resulting in higher worker safety ratings.

Lightweight Tooling Lower Tooling (Series)

Lower tooling pins and frames are used to build floor mounted end effector nest tooling. Made from steel, these units are available in a range of dimensions and can fit a range of applications

Lightweight Tooling T Clamp

Lightweight tooling T-clamps connect two tubes perpendicular to each other in a low profile design, making these units ideals for tight spaces. These clamps feature a black oxide finish and can accommodate a range of clamp/tube sizes.

Lightweight Tooling Sensor Mounts

Lightweight tooling sensor mounts are photo-eye units for tri-axis transfer press applications. These sensors feature a robust, steel construction design and black oxide finish to prevent corrosion.

Double Blank Detector Mounts

Destacker Double Blank Detector Mounts allow compliance to sensing blanks with ±15° without needing to adjust the robot, automation or tooling. Double Blank Detector Mounts are offered in two sensor thread diameters, 42mm and 54mm. A 75mm Double Blank Detector Mount can be ordered through our applications team.

Lightweight Tooling Shovels

Lightweight tooling press shovels are tri-axis transfer units that are available in left or right hand versions. This press shovels feature steel welded construction, integrated mount for photo-eye sensor, and a range of ball mount sizes.

Lightweight Tooling Gripper Mounts

Ball and paddle gripper mounts are used to connect sheet metal grippers to a tri-axis transfer press tool. These grippers feature industry standard mounting capability, black anodized finish, and can mount directly to DESTACO 84A2/A3 sheet metal grippers.
