Oscillating units and vibration absorber

Oscillating mountings provide the ideal support and impact loading for vibrating machines and vibrating screens in the processing industry.

Here, the rubber spring mountings ensure elastic, reaction-neutral and almost vibration-free mounting of the equipment. Depending on the type of system installed, the vibration generation and processing, different oscillation mountings are used.

The systems can be installed by either standing or hanging using standard mountings. Universal joints are supported by oscillating mountings rotated by 90° and can ensure particularly high vertical loads with maximum damping.

For all freely oscillating systems, we offer standard mounting variants with the highest degree of isolation efficiency.

Material transportation via vibrating conveyors with slider crank drives can also be equipped with our oscillating mountings. The smooth running ensures a reliable, low-wear and long-lasting system operation. We can advise you individually on site and suggest the best system for you.

Product overview

Schwingelement Typ OM

The oscillating mounts type OM are the head pieces of a rocker arm and are suitable for use in a single-mass crank shaft driven conveyor system up to oscillating machine index 1.6 or in resonance mode up to 2.2. The flanges are bolted directly to the trough and to the machine structure. Connecting rods of any length (made by customer) can be inserted into the threads. By using the swinging elements OM, one side with right-hand thread and the other side with left-hand thread, the center distance can be continuously leveled. We will be pleased to help you with the selection of these elements. 

drive head type DH

The drive head type DH is the elastic head piece of the push crank rod. A ball or roller bearing can be used on the eccentric drive side. At the trough, the drive head achieves maintenance-free transmission of the drive forces. The elastic drive head reduces the high force peaks that lead to increased wear in a stiff component and at the same time protects the drive components and the trough structure. We will be pleased to assist you with the selection of drive heads.

Schubstangenkopf Typ GSM

The drive head type GSM is functionally a DH with larger rubber volume. A larger head is used and compensated with larger rubber cross section. GSM are mainly used for the suspension of plansifters.

screen mounting type CE

The screen mount type CE enables the mounting of hanging and standing free-oscillating machines, as well as standing plansifter machines with eccentric forced motion control. The pairing of two elements in one support allows a circular and plane oscillating movement. The screen mount type CE acts as a wear-resistant screen mount and is also able to prevent the screen box from rotating during the start-up and run-down phases. Although the screen mount type CE is resistant to tearing and breakage, the CE guidelines for hanging systems must be observed.

 
 
 
screen mount type CH

The screen mount type CH is the universal mounting in our product range. All advantages, such as large oscillation amplitudes, high insulating effect, high power density, low residual force transmission and high resistance with regard to spontaneous loading are combined. The support of inclined screens is also possible. Transversely acting tensile forces due to belt drives are well absorbed and prevent negative, one-sided conveying.

screen mount type CH-PL

The screen mount type CH-PL is the optimization in terms of power density. Sufficient oscillation amplitudes, good insulating effect and good resistance with regard to spontaneous loading are retained. The support of inclined screens is also possible. If a belt drive is intended to drive the unbalance shafts, we recommend the use of a motor base
(e.g. Motor base MW8).

Sieblagerung Typ CH-HL

The screen mounting type CH-HL enables the mounting of hanging screens. All advantages, such as large oscillation amplitudes, high insulating effect, high power density, low residual force transmission, high resistance with regard to spontaneous feeding are combined. Also inclined screens are also possible. Transversely acting tensile forces due to belt drives are well absorbed and prevent negative one-sided conveying. Although the screen mounting type CH-HL is tear- and break-proof, the CE guidelines must be taken into account for hanging installations.

screen mounting type CS

The screen mounting type CS is the optimization with regard to the overall height. Reduced vibration amplitudes and good insulating effect are maintained. Specific for the mounting of horizontally standing conveyors (linear conveyors) with mostly smaller oscillation amplitudes. The design, which is different from the CH series, results in a detuning in the natural frequency of the mounts. Thus, the screen mounting type CS can also be used as a support between the foundation and a counter-swinging frame in combination with our mountings type CH and CH PL between the counter-swinging frame and the swinging screen.

Type C is designed for central mounting and types F and FM for flange mounting. Customer-specific designs are possible.

vibration absorber type VD

The vibration absorber type VD are mainly suitable for supercritical isolation. The large spring travel results in a soft bearing and thus a small natural frequency. The excitation frequency can be up to 50Hz depending on the amplitude. The frequency ratio of the natural frequency to the excitation frequency should be at least 1:1.4. The vibration damper can be loaded in tensile, pressure and shear.

vibration absorber type RD

This vibration absorber type RD is designed to absorb tensile, shear and pressure loads. In addition, this type is a tear-resistant mounting for hanging loads, such as crane tracks. Therefore, it is also ideal for ceiling and wall installations. We offer 5 sizes for application from 580 N –13.000 N per unit. The natural frequency of the elements is 9 – 27 H depending on the size. They are mostly used for subcritical mounting applications. (Natural frequency machine < natural frequency type RD). If subcritical bearing arrangements are present, a damper of solid construction with low deflection is usually selected. This dampens shocks and impacts from slow-running machines such as punches, crushers and mixers. With this type of mounting, the isolating effect cannot be calculated. This must be determined by before/after tests.

 
 
 
vibration absorber type G1/GN1

The vibration absorber type G1/GN1 consists of an aluminum cast cover and a glued-on blue Sylomer cushioning plate and is mainly suitable for fans, air conditioners, household machines, handling equipment, transport systems, pumps, small compressors and liquid tanks as isolation of structure-borne noise and vibrations. In the G1 version, the cast cover can be loaded directly on pressure. In the GN1 version there is a screw for leveling. Uneven surfaces can be compensated for up to +/- 5°.

vibration absorber type G2/GN2

The vibration absorber type G2/GN2 consists of a cast aluminum cover and an oil and gasoline resistant glued-on black NBR cushioning plate, with increased bearing stability for the mounting of light tooling machines, automatic assembling machines, equipment in garages and equipment in production lines. Suitable as isolation of structure-borne noise and vibrations. In the G2 version, the cast cover can be loaded directly under pressure. In the GN2 version, there is a screw for leveling. Uneven surfaces can be compensated for up to +/- 5°.

Schwingungsdämpfer Typ K1 / KN1

The vibration absorber type K consists of an aluminum cast cover and a glued-on rust-resistant steel wire cushion. This makes this damper resistant to heat and oil. The anti-vibration mount type K1 / KN1 is suitable as active isolation with high stability for the mounting of tooling machines with high speed and small vibration amplitude such as milling machines, lathes, drilling machines, straightening benches, screw compressors or hydraulic presses. The cast cover can be directly loaded on pressure in the version K1. In the KN1 version, there is a screw for leveling. Uneven surfaces can be compensated for up to +/- 5°. Heat is conducted away via the wires and the aluminum cast cover and no heat build-up occurs.

Schwingungsdämpfer Typ K2 / KN2

The vibration absorber type K consists of an aluminum cast cover and a glued-on rust-resistant steel wire cushion. This makes this damper resistant to heat and oil. The anti-vibration mount type K2 / KN2 is softer, thus has a smaller natural frequency and is suitable as active isolation for the mounting of tooling machines with low excitation frequency and large process movement such as eccentric presses, piston compressors and punching machines. As passive isolation, the  anti-vibration mount type K2 / KN2 is suitable for the mounting of lapping machines, printing cylinders, grinding machines, transformers and as foundation mounting. In the K2 version, the cast cover can be directly loaded on pressure. In the KN2 version, a screw is provided for leveling. Uneven surfaces can be compensated up to +/- 5°. The heat is conducted away via the wires and the cast aluminum cover and no heat build-up occurs.
