The parallel shaft cam indexing gear units ensure an optimum ratio between power and space requirements. Different sizes of the parallel shaft cam indexing gear programme, with finely graduated torques, laws of motion and switching angles cover a large number of applications.

Our gearboxes also meet the highest demands with high cycle performances, short switching times and high efficiency.

Special designs with stainless steel housings, special shafts and flanges, special motion laws, etc. are also available on request.

Stepping gear with cams

Centre distance: 63, 80, 100, 125, 160, 200, 250 mm

Standard stop number: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8

Housing:
Centre distance 63-125: Aluminium
Centre distance 160-250: grey cast iron

Shafts: High-strength quenched and tempered steel 42CrMo4 + QT

Rolling bearings:
Centre distance ≤ 130 mm Deep groove ball bearing
Centre distance > 130 mm Tapered roller bearing

Support rollers: Full-needle or full-roller yoke type track rollers

Cam discs: Hardened > 60 HRC and finely machined with a surface roughness Ra < 0.5 µm

Eccentric: Infinitely adjustable for highest accuracy

Lubrication: Lifetime lubrication with gearbox fluid grease or lubrication with gearbox oil
